CASA Janet Ackermann believes children are a "treasured resource," and she backs up her belief by volunteering with Voices For Children CASA. She says, "I wanted my volunteer time to give maximum benefit and also to do something that allowed me to interact with people."

Suzy Ageton, a CASA since 1997, says, "As a CASA, you get lots of support from the staff and the training is excellent. The greatest satisfaction is when you feel that there has been a positive resolution and you can see the change in a child's life."

CASA Manny Hernandez says, "I have been engaged in many volunteer efforts, and in terms of making an impact and a level of self-satisfaction, CASA rises to the top!"

Bob McClendon, a CASA volunteer and former Peace Corps director says, “As a CASA, we are a voice for the child,” McClendon said, “and they should be heard.”
