Thank you for all the ways you showed you cared in 2011
Voices For Children CASA sincerely thanks all of you who showed your support for the CASA cause this past year. Thank you to the volunteers who donated their time and effort, businesses and individuals who donated gifts, funds, supplies and food, members of the community who made sure CASA Kids received gifts during the holidays and bikes to ride during the summer, and to those who shared our message online and in person.
Oh Baby!
Voices For Children CASA supports children in many ways. Our Growing Your Child program provides parents with information about a child's development milestones, activities for parents to perform with their child and suggestions on how to care for their self as a parent. Information is available for children age 0 to 24 months in both English and Spanish.
Growing Your Child Information sheets are available online at
Growing Your Child Information. If you are a Boulder County resident and would like to receive Growing Your Child information by mail please write to nancy@vfccasa.org
Research shows that child neglect often occurs because parents have unrealistic expectations for their infants. The program was developed as a child neglect prevention effort. Each year approximately 400 parents participate in the Growing Your Child program.
Volunteer for the Light of Hope Committee
The Light of Hope Luncheon, held at the St. Julien Hotel each fall, is Voices For Children CASAs largest fundraising event.
The Light of Hope Committee is looking for a few volunteers to assist in planning this year’s event which will be held on Friday, September 7th. As a committee member you will be directly involved in the planning and preparation for this event. Light of Hope Committee members will begin to meet in the coming months with activities increasing as the luncheon nears.
If you would like to volunteer please contact Wendy at 303-444-5213
