As of May 30, 2013 Voices For Children CASA volunteers are actively working on 53 child abuse and neglect cases involving 87 children (45 females and 42 males) in Boulder County. CASA volunteers advocate for children involved in the most serious cases of maltreatment. <

  4 cases - abandonment
12 cases - domestic violence
  1 case    - failure to thrive
34 cases - neglect
22 cases - mental illness
  4 cases - physical abuse
14 cases - sexual abuse
17 cases - other reasons

* Multiple forms of abuse and neglect may occur in a single abuse and neglect case.
