About the CASA Program

Voices For Children CASA is a volunteer-based non-profit organization that trains and supervises community volunteers to represent the best interests of our most vulnerable citizens - child victims of abuse and neglect.

CASA volunteers are court appointed to be a voice for these children in court. The desired result is that children are placed into safe, permanent, loving homes where they can thrive.

Each year CASA volunteers provide services to more than 150 children in Boulder County. During the past 25 years, Voices For Children CASA has:

  • Provided advocacy and caring support services to more than 2,000 Boulder County abused and neglected children.
  • Recruited more than 500 members of our community to serve as Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteers.
  • Provided volunteers with 35,000+ hours of child welfare/juvenile justice related training and in-service education.
  • Created thousands of lasting memories and altered futures for children due to the coordinated efforts of CASA volunteers working with Guardian ad Litem attorneys, social workers, and VFC CASA staff.
